Mary is the Founder and Executive Director of Variables. She studied Illustration and Design at the Art Institute of Atlanta before earning a B.S. in Mathematics from Portland State University. Her previous teaching includes running a non-profit empowering girls in mathematics. She believes that creative play is essential to learning and meets learners where they are.
