Creative Play is an open studio style art workshop designed to bring out the playful and curious side of adults. This workshop offers a space where participants can explore art making in a fun and carefree manner. Individuals will be encouraged to follow their own curiosity and experiment with the materials available.

So, why should adults engage in this creative experience? Well, it's no secret that many adults feel burnt out. That's where creativity comes in, as it plays a crucial role in supporting our overall health and well-being. Engaging with the arts can have a profound impact on our brain and body, revitalizing our spirits. As children, we easily play with art without worrying about the outcome. However, as adults, we often feel the need for our creations to be productive. This workshop offers an experience where you can reconnect with your creative side and enjoy the benefits of the art process through play.

The workshop will feature different art stations including modeling clay, watercolor, drawing, collage. All art supplies will be provided, along with water, coffee, tea, and light snacks to keep you fueled throughout the workshop.

From the instructor:
“I wanted to create a space where adults can play for the sake of playing, no outcomes or expectations. I hope through this experience you'll feel like a kid again. Although jumping in to play may be a little intimidating for some, by the end I hope you've had some fun, some laughs, and come out relaxed and refreshed to tackle the day." - Mary Hlastala
